I want to learn how to speak Thai, basic Thai so I can communicate with locals here. Does anyone can recommend me a school with reasonable fees that I can go to? I called a few schools in Sukhumvit, but the fees are too expensive (around 11,000 - 16,000 Baht for 34 - 30 hours lesson). Any other good school with lower fees ?

Hi Cinn, there are some very good free websites out there...you don't get a lower fee than that! Take a look at the Women Learning Thai website
