Hi, I'm planning a trip to Bangkok and remember a while ago when somebody went they hired a driver for the day. This seems like a great idea, as he/she'll presumably know where we want to go and we can leave the shopping in the car while we check out the next shop...

Can anyone recommend any drivers or companies that provide this kind of service? Thanks.

We have used mr. and mrs Rat....... Can't remember the other 4 syllables of their name. :-) Anyway, they're happy being called Rat. It cost us 3000 bah for 10 hrs. not bad if you are sharing with a few people and so worth it! He even kept a cold box in the boot with iced water for us. Their English is ropey but we managed, even over the phone!

a car. but it was big enough and had a big boot. I know of others who rented him and his van and that was a little more expensive. okay though if you are with more people.
