Health check ups

Is there much difference between the international hospitals when it comes to a health check? Thinking about having one and just wondering if I should call around or just use my normal hospital?

Hi, if you do decide to call around, you can find the contact details of local international hospitals in Bangkok in our business directory in the International and Government Hospitals category.

Hopefully someone else using the forum can answer your question.

In terms of quality no...but in price ... yes there is a small difference

When going to these hospitals make sure you check the billing. They are first and foremost businesses. Ask for the print out before paying - it will show the details which don't show up on the final bill. For example, on a visit to Samitivej last week, I was billed for tylenol which I did not want and for bandages which I did not want either. These showed up only on the print out; otherwise they would have been lumped together under "medicines" for a global sum.
