Is it possible to send a telegramme overseas from Thailand? Do they have this service in Bangkok? Any info would be appreciated as I wish to send wedding salutations to my niece in Italy so they can be read out to the guests. A telegramme from overeas would be preferable to a card - I think? Thanks.

Sorry but I don't know the answer. You could try asking at the post office, if you go to the one in Silom you can usually find someone who can speak English.

Can't believe anyone "wires" words anymore though, even the fax is largely obsolete. . .

I agree about faxes but sounds like a great idea for a special event like a wedding... suppose that's why there are plenty of companies offering the service!
