How come there are hundreds of stray dogs kept at my local temple. They seem to have made a home there but the barking disturbs the peace for the whole area, including my apartment.

Most Thais are buddhist and because of their belief in karma they won't kill stray dogs or unwanted pets, and so often leave them at the temple.

I guess then its one of those things i've got to live with :(
