All Thai state schools follow the same basic school year but there are slight variations on dates between individual schools and provinces. According to reports even official school schedules can be subject to variation. Contact the relevant local school for exact information. There are two main holidays in the year:

However, they are more likely to follow the Western timetable with a five-week holiday in July and August and two weeks for both Christmas and Easter. Contact the school to get exact dates.
